Study Summary: Are Safety Concerns Impacting BBL Demand?
New data reveals that interest in Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedures may be shifting — not due to cost or aesthetics, but rising safety concerns. Our 12-month Google Keyword Planner study analyzed search patterns in six major U.S. cities and found a surprising trend: while overall BBL-related searches declined 6.1%, safety-related queries like “safe BBL” and “BBL death” surged by +18.4%.
Cities like Miami and Los Angeles saw the highest safety-to-core search ratios, while Dallas and Atlanta remained more cost- or results-driven. The largest spike came in March 2025, immediately following national media coverage of BBL-related fatalities.
